“ Here’s your review with the same energy but kept respectful: West Lafayette and Harry’s were an experience, to say the least. The night started with a long line outside, which was mad unfortunate. But luckily, I came prepared—I had my JBL speaker bumping classics from Creed and Nickelback, plus a dozen Miller Lites to keep the vibes high. Did I also bring some good ol’ zins? Of course. The line itself felt like a pregame, so by the time I got to the front, I was already having a blast. The bouncer checked both my IDs quickly, no hassle, and I was in. Inside, the atmosphere was absolutely electric. The place was packed, the energy was wild, and everything was going great—until I needed to use the restroom. That’s when I discovered something disturbing: no bathroom stall doors. Seriously? That pissed me off. I had no choice but to take a massive dump while my buddy stood guard. That would’ve been fine, but then some girl had the nerve to watch me and call me out for using the bathroom... in the bathroom. I asked, Why the hell are you watching me take a shit in the Harry’s bathroom? No good answer. Later that night, I went upstairs, and things got a little tense when people didn’t like some of the words I was using. Not exactly the vibe I was expecting. Overall, Harry’s had its highs and lows—great energy, but maybe invest in some bathroom doors. Can a guy just live? ”

“ Harry's Chocolate Shop is a West Lafayette classic. Their lunch optionds are all amazing. I especially love their quesadillas and sandwiches. Of course, you have to try their grasshopper. It's SO good! You have to stop by when you're in town. ”

“ This place is AMAZING!!! Literally a dive bar with fantastic food. They have a Buffalo sauce they make in house that is second to none. The Malibu chicken sandwich has a horseradish honey mustard sauce that is out of this world. The service is awesome and I cannot recommend this place enough ”

“ Definitely the place to go on campus! So much tradition and nostalgia, and of course, a good drink or two...or three. If you don't like crowds and a lively atmosphere, this will not be the place for you. ”

“ I have been coming to this place since I was 17 with a fake ID. This is one of those places that you absolutely must stop by and add to your life's resume. There is almost always a long wait to get in but it is well worth it! All of the staff is super nice and the service is second to none. I will say that this is the only college bar I have ever been to that puts restrictions on what songs you play on touch tunes. But you know what it's their business so they can do what they want :). This is truly a staple in my life and I hope that you will make it one of yours. Oh and try the catfish y'all ;) ”

“ It is an icon, if you go onto Purdue or know someone going to Purdue, or are in the area, check it out. It is not huge, but it is cool. That is a lot of history in that place. ”

I love how you this place carries the legacy of all the people and I like the pretty nice antique style in there! Quick service and oh boy, it gets super cramped during weekends! Some think this place is overrated but c’mon it’s a Purdue tradition! And is this really a chocolate shop , well, go check it out! ”

“ This is a very popular bar for students to go to when school is in session. We go in the summertime when it's slow so we can enjoy it. The prices are reasonable and the food drinks are great we had what I considered to be the best printed mushrooms in town on our last visit ”
